If it happens when you lift your arms up, it sounds like >>9533677 might be right that your arms are too long (since lifting your arms would cause the sleeves to slide further backwards to the bigger part of your arm) and the tight part is not hitting at the tight part of your wrist like it should. You can't change your arm length, but since the sleeves are detachable anyway you might be able to unobtrusively mod them and add a few cm in length hidden under the lace where the sleeve detaches. Or you could just wear them with the sleeves detached, or a pair of sleeves from a different dress that aren't too tight.

They work fine with OTKs too IMO. Tights can work but sometimes make it look a bit ouji. I can see ankle socks working with it but it'd have to be an otherwise very summery coord with e.g. eyelet lace on the bloomers.

I've seen people do this but I don't like the way it looks. I'd guess it's because the most doll-like modern dresses are classic dresses that are longer/tea length anyway so bloomers wouldn't show.

I tried to find out when Crown Label started a while back but I got conflicting information...I think one source said they were releasing stuff with that name as early as 2002/3 but another said it didn't start til 2009.
