/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

I'm doing a group cosplay with friends this year, as in we're all going as Baldrick from the show, Blackadder. Except we're all doing the different time periods between us. I'm doing Blackadder Goes Forth Baldrick, so my getup's going to be largely WW1 military gear. I imagine I will be able to get the bulk of it from military surplus stores and the like, but what about the pouches and various harness bags? Do people even do WW1 recreation events that would warrant the construction of these?
