I didn't use a primer when applying the liner. My face was completely washed out after removing my makeup, but a primer is needed to avoid smudging.

Try using the lighter method to see if you can get a more intense black. If not, then yeah, the pigment of the liner isn't that good.

It is, anon! This thread is for regular makeup as well as cosplay. I searched for the character and if we go by >>7942790 explanation, you can try two methods for the in-game look:

1.-Using eyeliner and smudging it out
2.-Using eyeliner on your lower lid and then eyeshadow to make those like, inverted triangle shapes.

For the more realistic look, apply the first method.
Use a primer since the weather is going to be humid.
