Okay, I'm buttmad.
I've been trying to subtly suggest or push him excellent anime that I loved, or related to, to try and steer him away from the autism-tier shit he likes, but its obviously not working.
Like, yeah, he's a great, sweet, supportive dude, but he literally has the worst taste and it drives me up the wall.

She may be insecure, but she knows how to say or do things that always work to her advantage. I guess so many people fawn over her because she seems like she could be anyone's friend. Maybe they think they could have a chance at dating her? They are the cult of the friend zone. She supports the wear whatever you want and it's cosplay thing so a lot of girls look up to her. Big fake tits for the guys, encouraging words for the girls, she plays video games so both guys and girls like her. She really tends to whore out some costumes, which is stupid. When she wants to make an accurate cosplay like her Nausicaa cosplay, I think they are pretty decent. She has been having other people make her shit recently so she's kind of just a mode now. But I guess that means she won. People will love her until she gets married or pops out some spawn. Then her fan base will start to die down.

I have alot of issues, cgl.

i remember when the homestuck community in my area was small, reserved, and family-like. now a lot of the old fans have moved on leaving the rest of us with the new generation, and there is a HUGE costume quality gap. the old kids usually stick together and with the friends who moved onto other fandoms to keep away from the new gen, but obviously there are some times the two worlds meet. im used to being embarassed by the new gen. like this one time at MTAC.
