Since you're a newbie at sewing, I would suggest something simple, like a school uniform of some sort-- if you wanted to make it yourself. If you wanted to have something commissioned, I think that Levi would be a good choice and since SNK is so popular right now, there are lots of tutorials and assistance you can get with constructing their uniforms.

Since you have a medium budget and live in a warmer area, I'd go with Skyward Sword Zelda. I'm also glad you're working on Touko, because you'll look awesome!
