Okay i've been playing for a couple days now, and it reminds me more of this facebook game called "Foopets" that I used to play, especially with the going to people's houses and cleaning their shit. It doesn't have the same sense of community I remember from TM, but that may just be the difference between a website and a phone app- nevermind nostalgia might be rearing it's ugly head and making me remember everything way more fondly than it was.
But it's fun, even though the Gold Rush game makes my phone heat up and lag. I really need to save up more money to get new eyes, though.

Jesus goddamn christ. I've been playing this as well, and i'm SO invested in the VIP event thing. I loved my black penguin and giant tuna from the TM fishing events, this is hitting way too close to home for me.
