I'd like to make a Chocobo Mask from FFXIV, 3D view of the mask here: http://xivmodels.com/?item/2784/Chocobo-Mask (the lighting on the metal is off on the model viewer)
I'm a little stumped on the yellow portion. I thought of maybe finding a big plastic easter egg decoration (if they make them in just the right size), but the nose doesn't taper in as much as some of the eggs I've seen. I don't think I'd be able to sculpt symmetrically. Do you think it would work out well?
And is run-n-buff or whatever still the best to make metal-looking surfaces?
