Off-camera flashes are a godsend. Flash gets a bad rep, but point it upwards or to the sides and bounce flash makes everything better. If you get used to it, you can bounce it to the background, giving the photo a facade of ultra high dynamic range.

Is flash photography even allowed in AX?
