you have it backwards, romegyaru wasn't really a thing, himekaji grew into its own thing outside of it's gyaru roots, especially since liz lisa slowly started moving away from sterotypical gyaru styling and make after 2014.

I've seen people try to sell used yumetenbo/dreamv clothes for $40+ on depop. Gyaru is not lolita, there is not an increase in value over time. Especially for dreamv, of all places. That is just gyaru Forever 21.
