I've considered adding corset lacing to a few of my IW pieces that have back shirring but no lacing. I'm just at or slightly under the minimum measurements so the shirring gaps on me. I don't feel comfortable opening up the seams, though, especially those of a shirring panel, so I'm thinking of handsewing some lace like pic related on top and threading the ribbon through that. It will be really hard to find the right colour, though, and it won't be very sturdy. Does anyone here have experience with adding corset lacing?
