I think a soft yellow is way more accurate than a darker tan. The skirt is definitely a light beige/khaki, not dark in the slightest.

What do you think the best method is for Chiaki's hairclip?

I've seen some people use beads for the pixelated effect

i'm starting a nanami too and i'm running into similar problems with the color scheme--i (and most others, it seems) had a mental image of her as having purple hair and eyes but when i look closely at the sprites everything's a lot more ash/peach/khaki. i'm planning on getting a wig a bit lighter than the one suggested, from the same seller actually, and doing a really light dusty pink wash, though i'm concerned about it turning out more of a junko color...

basically the actual point of this post is to ask, would people want to see a color scheme faithful to canon--ashy-pink wig, bright pink contacts, khaki skirt--if it means straying from the purple tones everyone draws/pictures her with? i've been seeing people fuck up colors and not get called out on it for ages in homestuck fandom and that shit makes me rage.
