Screw that, I do the rare stuff anyway, because its that much more thrilling when someone DOES recognize you. Doing something popular means yeah, everyone knows it, but no one really is excited. Doing something rare means that when you DO have someone recognize you, you're going to have made that person's day, because they never see their favorite series cosplayed.
