I can't decide on what would look better for the Medic symbol on the side of the Medics arms.

Do you think I should purchases patches, or make some high quality iron-on transfers for a cleaner look?

Also, any suggestion on how to seal the transfers against potential damage? Cause all I got right now is clear nail polish and I'm not sure that the acetone in the polish would damage the ink in the transfers.
