/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

I'm going to PAX in a little less than two weeks and I'm having difficulty figuring out what to do about Richter's coat from Castlevania SotN. I have everything else figured out well enough, but I'm unsure how to handle the coat. I'm a beginner and have no experience with sewing or tailoring but I'm willing to try it and this is going to be the first time I'm cosplaying. If that seems too hard for a beginner in the time frame, does anyone have any similar long dark haired characters I could go as? I'm not against crossplaying, assuming the outfit is simple enough.
