Almost finished putting my armor together, but the last center piece didn't fit . I guess the pattern I made didn't account for the thick foam.

At this point I just have to shape pieces until I get one that fits, right?
Not really sure what else I can do about it except take it slowly. The good news seems to be that the last piece will fit under this and so any bump edges will be hidden. There's a lot more room for error than other pieces
