Don't. Don't do any of those things. This isn't Homestuck, there's no room for interpretation about how the characters might really look. Just cosplay a canon outfit. Wanna be different? Maybe try doing her outfit from Dangan Ronpa 0/her outfit her wore back in school, but do not make your own design. It'll just end up looking stupid that you put in so much effort to not even be canon. That's my advice, anyways.
