Oh I'm going to have volume alright! I'm doing a full circle skirt.This is a pic of my mockup (out of cheap, thin-almost-sheer cotton), if that tell you anything. Getting the fabric with dat drape should make this look fantastic (so I hope). I know would be wearing different materials but I'm concerned about making them too different to the point that it adds dissonance...if that makes sense. It's late and I'm finding it a bit hard to put in words what I mean, sorry.

Yeah, all those awful costume satin outfits haunt me (anyone remember that satin Sasuke??)!

The pink ribbon is most likely what I'll end up using: It isn't a perfect match but I haven't thought of an efficient way to make something better.
I'll have to read up on sewin/appliqueing satin, as I haven't before. Any tips/resources you'd like to share, anon?
