But part of the look is a more VK-influ. hairstyle, esp. for actual guys who do it instead of girls. The issue is that white people who don these haircuts end up looking too sceney, and a lot of us here have an aversion to HotTopic-related anything. And the person you quoted later on it also me, haha. But yeah, here's an example of more alternative hair that works WONDERFULLY.

I hate to say it, but I think it's just that white people don't look as good in Ouji. Most lolita works for most races, but Ouji (because Ouji is -technically- a subcategory of lolita, like pirate or kuro) seems to be more exclusive for whatever reason.
