In our country a lot of youth sports and club associations get invited to (or apply to get invited to) local conventions and it's funny to see incharacter stuff happening
Ping pong, kendo, wrestling, jiu-jitsu, calligraphy, and so

It's win win, cosplayers get to try out things and get informed, and associations get publicity and possibly new memberships.
