I think this is the only pic in the whole thread I don't particularly like. Despite wearing a lolita dress, the whole thing feels way too... not-lolita. The hair styling, the tights. Just not my style, I guess.

I got into lolita around 2013 and I'm so goddamn sad I missed the time that gothic was actually around at meetups and popular. Sometimes I feel like sweet and classic are the only "real" lolita styles because I barely even see gothic around anymore and I feel like my style of lolita is so far removed from the things I see at meetups or on CoF. To illustrate, I saved pic related to my inspiration folder from a damn ita thread.

I wish I could meet other people who are into the same style of clothing as I am, but I 100% don't fit into goth communities either. Gothic revival when?
