Planning on doing Erika from Pokemon in between armor cosplays to give me something comfy to wear this summer.

How many yards of fabric do you think I'll need for the yellow kimono, and how many yards do you recommend for the skirt thing? (Sorry I don't know the fancy terms for the pieces) I normally do armor and I've only done pleats once in my entire life, so I'm kind of lost. I have a kimono already I'm basing the pattern off of since I don't feel like paying for a kimono pattern.
