I've always struggled with wearing alt fashion around my partners. I've had boyfriends tell me after dates "don't dress like that around me anymore". One ex of mine, for my birthday, bought me normie clothes I do not wear like jeggings and athleisure and a plain black bodycon dress which sent a pretty clear message to me. My last boyfriend would get really quiet if I wore lolita around him, he insisted it was okay but I knew he was uncomfortable with the attention.

But my current boyfriend is dream come true. I wore lolita out on a date with him, I asked him if it was okay and he was enthusiastic about it. He had no problem taking photos with me and of my outfit, and whenever someone complimented me he was all smiles and even bragged about it later ("so many people liked your outfit today!")

I've never felt so loved, I didn't think this was possible for me but it is!

I know what you mean! The notebook is really cute though, the paper inside is not too fancy since it's meant for schoolwork I think, but I like it a lot. I use it to write about my lolita goals or to doodle coordinate ideas for special occasions. They're probably not worth msrp, but it's a nice novelty.
