It's not for Halloween, but it is a costume; I'm working on a production of Little Shop of Horrors and was wondering if there was any easy way to make or buy a "gas mask" (astronaut bubble) like the one in this picture?

We'd use one of the cheapo ones like this (http://www.amazon.com/Loftus-Biohazard-Costume-Black-Adult/dp/B000GKU70C)) but we're afraid that it would muffle the sound too much.
