You could probably try the comb technique for that or drilling holes through the model magic and use an elastic band to help keep them up perhaps. I'm not too sure. I've had good experiences with the combs and putting bobby pins against the teeth to hold them in place.

Pictures are the combs I've used. I got them from Hobby Lobby and cut down the middle and snapped it in half. After, I carved a notch to fit the curve of the comb in to the model magic then just glued it in place. If it won't hold too well with super glue, get a thin piece of tissue paper to put between the plastic and model magic to act as a conductor of the adhesive.
