So, confession/story time: I have hair-loss due to chemotherapy treatments. It makes anchoring anything to my head/wig really difficult for lolita (or in general as per most of my fellow big-C friends). I had the fun experience of having my wig start FALLING OFF MY HEAD because of how heavy my hat was last meetup and I was low-key traumatized by this happening in public while dressed to the nines.

I kinda couldn’t handle that this meet. And my friend wanted to twin because we bought this dress together. So, I went full folksy and used clip-in bangs with a giant Russian fringe shawl instead of a wig. Nothing shifted or hurt my scalp and I had a much better time enjoying myself instead of worrying about my wig staying on my skull.

Gentle feedback is welcome. I do know my boobs are huge for this dress; maybe I should have worn a binder? Anyways, good people, good food, lots of love for my Great Lakes Lolita family.
