Bruh, the city OWNS the convention center. And AM was declared a citywide HOLIDAY during the previous event, BY THE MAYOR HIMSELF! you think he is gonna make "Anime Matsuri Day" a thing if they owe the city even a cent??! You want some REAL insider knowledge? The city will never let AM die because they are EXTREMELY profitable. I work for Houston First (A local government corp who manages downtown buildings and affairs) and trust me, AM isn't going ANYWHERE
