I feel like lolita has really changed my social life. I make friends and socialize much more easily than I ever used to before, but I don't know if it's because I feel more confident since I've started wearing it, or if it's because people think I'm a novelty. Sometimes I wonder if people are more superficially interested in my appearance than genuinely interested in me as a person. What if lolita is the only thing about me that keeps people around?
