A couple reasons

>Nerd guys
Most lolitas are involved in nerdy hobbies or interests, be it anime, gaming, cosplay or whatever. Most dudes with similar hobbies aren't all that attractive. So they bond over shared interests rather than looks.

>Lolitas might scare attractive guys away
It's a flashy fashion and most normal "attractive" dudes are scared away by the flashy clothes or think its something weird.

>Lolitas have different taste
Kinda related to my first point, but maybe most lolitas have a different taste in men. Maybe they aren't attractive to you, but as long as they are happy and in love, who cares?

I'm struggling to think of any lolitas off the top of my head with super attractive boyfriends, but I don't keep tabs on many lolitas personal lives.
