Because of the name recognition & connection with Mana
If you follow many MMM-wearing lolitas on instagram you'll notice a lot of them are massive Mana fangirls and so will buy new items without much discrimination, even stuff that got routinely made fun of on /cgl/ on release (pic related). From a business point of view it's bound to make sense.
