I disagree that we need more drama, and I disagree that janitors have been deleting a lot of on-topic threads.

You either missed a few shitposters or they ban-evaded, but I guess all I can do is report and hope you recognize them.

I don't know if you'll return to this thread, but I'd like to share my opinion on things like "board culture" that people keep referring to. It can often get out of control as others assimilate and mimic what they've seen is supposed to be acceptable, and as it branches out, things become only tangentially related if related at all, and everyone thinks certain things are okay because of the self-policing that anons do. The groupthink turns the board into some other board that shall not be named.

I understand that each board has a diverse userbase and unique "culture", with a little bit of the general 4chan "culture" mixed in. But I don't think that's a viable excuse for having shitty threads. A loving parent does what's best for their child, even if the child doesn't appreciate it at the time. I don't think we should start banning everyone who argues, I just think we should seriously consider the cons and the pros before we make snap decisions on what is and is not acceptable.

Sorry for the wall of text. I've been visiting 4chan less and less. I don't know if I've grown out of it or what. But I always come back, hoping it'll be worth my while. Thanks for the website, moot. I like it a lot.
