He already did, reblogged a suicide hotline,
seems like someone is trying too hard to get somone's pity.
I srsly feel like telling him to stop messing around and shoot himself, better dead than a stalker pedophile.

>those lolita friends that shun you for awhile after you buy a popular release and they couldn't get one
And it seriously only ever happens when I make a facebook status about my purchase, it's not like I gloat or show-off.

I think there's a line between enhancing your features and transforming them into something else.
Wearing eyeliner is enhancing.
Wearing foundation is enhancing.
Curling your lashes is enhancing.

Shaving off your eyebrows and drawing them back on is transforming.
Wearing circle lenses is transforming.
Photoshopping your jaw smaller is transforming.
You're not "enhancing" your natural features here. You're either hiding or covering up what is naturally on you and replacing it completely with something else.

But idk, most women I've met tend to understand this difference. It's only the pancake-face, high school girls with the chola sharpie brows that say bullshit like "ITS MUH BODY AND ITS FUN AND I DONT CURR IF YOU NORMIES THINK IT LOOKS BAD DIE PATRIARCHAL OPPRESSIVE SCUM."

Okay, I'm not going to sit through and read all this bullshit but what the fuck does slut shaming have to do with the relevancy of an anime convention?
I thought the point was to talk about, you know, anime, manga, costumes, and VAs. Not sit around and bitch that other people have ignorant opinions.

No shit some people discriminate against people in skimpy cosplays. But you know what else happens? Some people discriminate against black girls cosplaying white characters. Do we need to have a big ass panel on racism too? Or how about a misogyny panel? Truth be told there's tons of social issues that we could tack onto actions at a convention, but it doesn't make them relevant or proper.

I understand you have good intentions OP, but they're severely misplaced. People go to an anime convention to have fun, not to be reminded of how shitty some people can be. If you want to start a separate slutwalk event for cosplayers and lolitas, then power to you. But an anime convention simply isn't the place for it.
