Might as well ask since people are in an asking mood atm. I'm putting together a generically Fantasy Middle Eastern costume--you know, the non-specific sort-of-Arabian variety, like pic related. Historical accuracy is not important, and I'm sure I'll end up mixing all kinds of styles and time periods, but I'd like to draw on real-world clothing to give it more authenticity. Anybody know a good starting point where I can find more information on clothing styles that would work for this, maybe some sewing guides?
