Thanks, that basically translates to forgoing the fold-over. The entire dress is one piece, folded down and pinned (will be sewn) at the shoulders. I'll mess around with the folded bit and decide whether it looks better without it.
I've also been toying the idea of a layer of chiffon overtop, but I think that would be just too much? What about a single stripe of some sort of trim near the edge?
