/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

Wanna put together a JC Denton costune for Halloween. Most of it seems pretty straight forward, but I can think of a few problems:
1. His eyes are supposed to be solid blue and glowing behind his glasses. Obviously there's no way to perfectly replicate that irl. Should I just skip that and hope no one looks too closely? Or drop $200 on blue scleras that would still leave my pupil visible? I could use lights as well. I remember once when I was little, one of my friends had a costume where she was a ghoul and she had these little lights she wore like a pair glasses behind her mask that gave her the appearance of glowing eyes. I have no idea what this apparatus is called though
2. The bioelectric circuits on his hands; using makeup seems like a bad idea since it would be so easy for it to rub off on my hands, and something glued to my hand would pucker
3. I'm female, but JC wears body armor. Can I get away without binding if I pad out the lower portions of the armor? I'm 32D and I have fucked up ribs and spine and binding is extremely painful for me (even regular bras cause me a lot of pain)
