I'm a huge fan of masked characters. And armor for that matter.
As for a tip? I'm seriously considering Sven, but I'd have no clue what to make the blue parts of his armor out of. It's gotta be firm, but bendable enough that my arms could move around.

Honestly, even though #2 would be a lot more comfortable,and easy to make, it'd probably be more fun to wear #1 around.
Other than that, check out 'Saki Rukino', from Valvrave. Her plot uniform is pretty good, but there really aren't any good props to go with her, unfortunately.
