Progress on Nausicaa's rifle! Pretty much finished one side and now bondoing the other side (waiting for it to cure at the moment). Bondo is some mean fucking stuff though, the fumes make me dizzy even with a mask and fan blowing the fumes out the shop door.

My process is the same as Punished Props', basically screwed 2 PVC pipes together and using bondo to fill in the valley between them. Using spot putty and filler primer spray with 400 grit sandpaper to finish it off. Will probably wet sand it before painting.

Also scored 5 yards of 60 wide light grey flannel at a discount fabric store for $9.50! Its the perfect texture and weight for her dress (in fact there is a description of her dress in the manga saying it is made out of felt), and came out the perfect shade of blue after combining teal and evening blue rit dye.

Looking good Wander anon! Its hard to figure out the symbols from a game from 2005 with low res textures, but I think you did fine.
