oh anon, I've had a "friend" ask if my "Grandma was 'interested' in Japan too" in the most fucking condescending way possible when I mentioned I cook food like curry rice and tonkatsu at school for myself on occasion.

She doesn't agree with anything about Japanese culture (honor/saving face, respect, etc) because they don't match up with her 21st century sjw feminist bullshit.
