By the way, do any of you guys use the spare rooms on the second floor of the museum? I was talking to some friends about them, and they said their either didnt use them at all or used them as spare storage places. They were surprised when I actually made exhibits.

Im collecting all the golden furniture into one room called El Dorado, Ive got the Litchi Hikari Club room in another, and all the gyroids Ive found so far in the third. I was thinking about putting together a Junji Ito tribute room too.

What have you guys done?

Seagulls, I come to you with a dilemma because you guys seem like gurus when it comes to Animal Crossing.

A couple weeks ago, I got a used 3DS and the new Animal Crossing. The 3DS did not come with an SD card. I didn't care at the time, so I started playing AC right away.

A few days ago, I got the QR code machine in my store and I scanned a few QR codes. I had to erase and write over one of the premade designs that you access from the menu (like the carpet sample, the three plaid patterns, the train, etc) to save them.

Then my friend came over and showed me the massive collection she had of QR codes. She had a closet full of them, ABC with 6 pages each, all full of codes.

When I asked her how she had so much space and I didn't, she said it was because of her SD card. So I got an SD card.

But, when I go to use the QR machine, I still have to overwrite one of the designs. I don't have the same storage space that my friend has for the codes. I think the game, or at least, my save file, doesn't realize the SD card is there.

How do I start saving QR codes to the SD card? Do I have to restart my Animal Crossing game?
