/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

Hey Seagulls, let me tell you what has lead me to why I never talk shit about any seagull in /cgl/(or any Anon from boards /a/, /m/, /jp/ and /o/, for that matter)

>Sit on a corner to charge my phone since I can't take pictures anymore due to the battery being 5%
>3 cosplayers drop by near me to fix ther cosplay
>suddenly, a cosplayer cosplaying a bomb ass Suki from Avatar starts talking about /cgl/, let's name her Y
>!!!!
>I asked them if they actually went to /cgl/, surprised, they said yes
>finally notice one next to Y who looked gorgeous cosplaying a character from Kill la Kill, she's having a hard time walking due to her cosplay, let's name her X
>mfw my brain stops for a fraction of a second, jumping back a year and a half at one moment where I used to laugh at her Homestuck cosplays
>Mfw I realize it was the same person
>I blurt out, "Wait, I know you, you're X(her real name), right?"
>She looks at me, dumbfounded
>Another realization occurs, this time from 2 years ago
>I look at Y and say "and you're Y(her actual first name this time), right?", something I deduced due to my aunt having the same name(it was a very old Spanish name)
>She looked dumbfounded
>get to talk to them a bit, they're cool guys
>Post on /cgl/ about it, lamenting on what I did and how creepy I was throughout the whole event
>Get a message in Facebook from X saying "I don't think you're creepy"
>Both relieved and TERRIFIED about what happened
>To add insult to the injury, another cosplayer friend who went as Maria on the past AX proceeds to post on our Facebook group saying "Dammit Clockwork, we saw your posts about AX in /cgl/
