/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

I could use more cosplayers who have like, Equius or Tavros as their main costume, as opposed to all these hundereds of Daves and Karkats. Eventually it just turns into a mush. In Lindzars defense, all the things I could find by them are clean and well-shot. They're another person who nuked their blog, but their DeviantArt is still up so there's that.

I'm assuming you haven't cosplayed much before? It looks pretty decent as far as early cosplay attempts goes, but there's definitely room for improvement. I'd make the symbol wider, as well as more vibrant, and get a proper wig and better horns. Ampora horns are really easy to mess up, but you don't gotta get them ~perfect~ to work. at least thicken them out (especially at the base).

/cgl/, how do you think karkat's hair should be styled? i'll be styling a wig for a friend in the future and thought i should ask ahead of time
