aw i didn't know about that. he has not had good luck with the lifespan of his band members.

much like the h. Naoto thread from a while back, this is making me want to buy new Moitie more and more. i will definitely keep an eye on their releases. i wear ouji/aristocrat and have a couple second-hand Moitie items, but i would like to encourage the EGA line so i will save up for a future release.

it is difficult to imagine a Lolita world without Moitie, but to be fair, interest in gothic anything has been very low. the kawaii side of lolita is currently in the lead, and there are not many gothic cultural icons in general society.

when Hot Topic became a mini convention dealer's room i realized how little interest younger people have in alternative, dark fashion.

i do not like to say it, but if Moitie wants to compete they need to do more colorful prints. that is what compels a lot of people to buy lolita new: getting the newest print before others do.
