I wish my inconveniences were just limited to cosplay, my plans took a major U-turn this past week.

> book room through trivago in early April for 312$ for two days, planning to go with 3 others
> when reservation was made it said it was confirmed & official, all my info was good to go
> room location is only 0.8 miles from con
> thinking “wow shit pretty damn good room score for this late in the year”
> first two weebs flake out, no biggie since 1 mate is still down and can still afford it no problem
> fucking guys car gets in wreck over weekend, can’t go has to spend con $ on new car
> still unphased by everyone bailing, got more than enough $ to cover room cost and everything else on my own
> in downtown LA yesterday, decide to check out hotel for myself
> ask if I can possibly check in a bit earlier when it comes time to
> fucking hotel has zero record of my reservation, trivago has royalty fucked me sideways
>>> fucking homeless encampments in every which way on sidewalks at hotel location

Guess it was a blessing in disguise that I didn’t stay their the place was pretty shady looking, still going to con for one day atleast. Moral of story call hotel when you make a reservation online.
