I thought panelist badges were only free if you had three hours of panels, so I applied for three hours of panels but only got one hour accepted. But then apparently they gave me my badge (well, wristband) for free anyways, so hey, good end.

Also, what's the point of switching to badges if they let you put it around a lanyard anyways? I was only asked to show my ID to verify the name on the wristband once, and while I didn't have it on me at the time they just let me in anyways since it was a panelist badge. I don't get it. Not that I'm complaining, certainly.
