I just checked mine, the material looks similar to yours: very smooth, fine "pores", very regular pattern. I assume mine's faux because of the price. I paid around 180 USD or so, and the real leather version cost over 40000 Yen according to lolibrary.

To be honest, I am a bit worried that it's a replica because the stamp is missing. Also I noticed the coffin zipper differs from the ones seen e.g. here

While those seem to be stamped in, on my bag zippers the logo and brand name is a relief.
