Really, I'd say you're guilty of believing exactly that. These are supermodels that were beauty icons in their time, they're not my own biases. Even if you personally find them "disgusting," that's your personal biases that you're trying to treat as objective fact. It's not relevant in a discussion on what's normal to consider things disgusting. The fact is these women are considered attractive, and fat people disgusting. There might be people who disagree and actually find fat attractive and thin disgusting, but they're anomalies, and it's likely just fetishistic in nature - the same definitely cannot be said for thin.

This discussion is stupid. It's just a bunch of rationalization trying to justify fat gluttons or equate them with excessive thinness. They will never be the same. One is obsessive work on the aesthetics of one's own body (yes, sometimes to the point of debilitation), the other is total disregard for one's body in the name of destructive self indulgence. Fat will always be ignoble, it will always evoke an impulsive reaction of disgust, and it has no place in any fashion.
