I suppose that I just never saw what I pay for in terms of cosmetics/skincare as "a ton of money", because I'm paying for quality and I felt as if.. well.. if something is going onto such a crucial area such as your face, why be cheap about it? Especially when most cheaper brands aren't really that great or only have one selling point to them.

It's just that I've had brands such as Etude House, Nyx, Mac, and Lime Crime hyped up to me over and over by so many.. but, they're honestly shit and I regret wasting less money on a useless, shitty product than spending money on the more expensive product that lives up to the standard which it sets. The only drugstore brand I've ever had luck with was Revlon, but I only use them for their lip liners.
