I'm another one of those girls with terrible social anxiety (already on meds and seeing a therapist) and the only meetup I've ever attended I hardly talked to anyone and left early. I was really considering going to another one and asking my boyfriend along for support, but now I'm doubting myself. He's not even remotely creepy or awkward and would rather die than grow a neckbeard or wear a fedora but I can totally see why some girls would be uncomfortable with him there. I guess I'll just stay home and be a lone lolita.
