Seriously, fuck the organiser. What's even the point of listing the event if you're not going to let congoers attend? Why not say in the description 'sign ups closed'?

I might turn up just to see if I can get in. If you're there seagull I'll give you a battle. Hey, enough frustrated people who can't take part, let's have our own mini-tournament!

If you're mad about the event I recommend emailing Morti, the event organiser (morti@kitacon.org) to say what a fuckup it is the organiser ran signups ages ago, closed them something like 3-4 months ago and said nothing about it in the description. What a fucking joke.
