The time has come for us to man the fuck up. How many of you want to larp, but are faced with this kind of shit? What is keeping us from actually holding ourselves to a high standard of costuming? I used to do a lot of boffer fighting when I was a kid, and wanted to get into larp, but I can't stand how little effort everyone puts into costuming! After searching around, one larp group promoted themselves as having a "high standard of costuming", only for THIS to be their standard! What the fuck is wrong with us? I just want to crossbow some nerds for their gold!

God fucking dammit. I love living in the USA, but our LARP scene is fucking retarded. I have been drooling over Hungarian Larpfag's pictures and footage from Drachenfest, Conquest and Bicolline for years now. I just want to go to a LARP where people actually put effort into their costumes and expect everyone else to do the same. For fuck's sake, the "Orcs" in this group literally just smear their faces bright green.
