There's nothing wrong with OP recognizing an itinerary - the US cosplay sphere is a small world and cosplayers are usually very public about where they will cosplay.

None of us are likely to ever meet but do try to understand the opposite is true of the following:

It is not wrong for you to have that mentality as an unconscious way of protecting yourself or simply wanting to be alone and it is not wrong for people to throw an idea into the abyss to potentially gather people around and socialize.
